Malaysia, China give up peg

Wohoo...after 7 years..the've decided to unpeg the Ringgit. But my main concern (of course!) is wherether the singapore dollar-ringgit exchange will be affected...ermm...positively...

Is this a signal of confidence in ourselves? A willingness to take more risks? Opening up M'sia to bigger opportunities and an abondenment of 'save-me' attitudes?
